Tandoori Chicken
Made in the air fryer this chicken is perfectly juicy on the inside, with a nice char on the outside which seals in all the flavours. One of my favourite Indian street foods.

Ingredients
- 3 Chicken thighs with bone
- 2 tsp Mustard oil
- 3 tbsp SOS Butter Masala
- 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
Method
- Cut slits across the chicken thighs to let the marinade seep in
- Make a marinade with the Butter Masala sauce, Kashmiri red chilli powder and the mustard oil
- Add this to the chicken and mix well
- Turn on the Air fryer, keep the temp to 180*C and drop the chicken thighs in
- Let them cook for 10 minutes on one side then turn them over
- Now crank up the heat to 200*C and let the chicken char nicely for 5 minutes on each side
- Serve with green chutney or raita
Tips
If you dont have an air fryer you can make these in the oven or on a grill pan. Raita is a combination of whisked yogurt with chopped coriander, chopped cucumber with salt and pepper. Chutney can be made by blending a couple of green chillies, yogurt, coriander and salt.
