Q. Are your products Vegetarian?
Yes! All SOS products are vegetarian.
Q. Are your products Halal?
6 of our products are certified Halal by MUIS in Singapore (please see product pages for details)
Allergy Advice: This product is made in a production environment that may contain peanut, cereal, crustacean, egg, fish, soybean, milk, tree nut & sulphites.
Q. What type of Oil is used in the SOS Kitchen's products?
Vegetable oil are used in all SOS products.
Q. How do I use the SOS cooking pastes and sauces?
The SOS products help reduce your culinary time without compromising on the taste. Check out our recipes here
Q. Is Discolouration normal on top of the SAUCE on opening the Jar?
Yes! As our products have no preservatives and very little sugar, they tend to discolour on the top due to oxidation that occurs naturally.
The SOS ingredients are all sourced locally from Singapore, A lot of the ingredients are grown in Malaysia.
Q. How long is the shelf life for the SOS products?
All our products are shelf life stable, that means that in an ambient room temperature, they have a shelf life of 15/24 months from the date of manufacture. We indicate the Best Before date on the lid of the package as well as on Product pages on this website. Jars don't need to be refrigerated before opening. Once opened, please keep refrigerated, please consume within 30 days of opening.

Q. How much does shipping cost?
Promotion Period - 10th Feb 2026 to 26th March 2026 - We are offering free delivery for orders above S$19.95 and above.
For Orders below S$19.95, delivery fees ranges from $2.05 to $8.00 depending on the order value during this promotion period.
After 26th March 2026 - Our normal delivery charges will resume as follows:
We offer free shipping on orders of SGD $35 or more. A flat rate of SGD $8 applies for orders that fall below SGD $35 after discounts are applied.
Q. When will i receive my order?
We currently deliver between Monday through Saturday. Delivery for orders placed before 12pm will be done on the same day between 5 to 7pm. Delivery for orders placed after 12pm will be done the next day between 11am to 1pm or 3 to 5pm.
We have added a feature for customers to pick the available time slots as well as delivery dates. That may give you control to order and receive at the time and date most convenient to you.
Q. What is your return/exchange policy?
Should you experience an issue with your order or receive your item damaged, please contact us at sales@thesoskitchen.com or by sending a whatsapp message to +65 96179855 and we will be happy to assist you.
Q. Can I place a bulk order for corporate gifting or weddings?
Yes we accept bulk order for corporate gifting with a prior notice of at least 20 days. Write in to us at sales@thesoskitchen.com and let us work around your budget. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
