Ingredients
- 1 Ciabatta
- 2 tbsp SOS Romesco
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 Chicken breast fillet
- 1 Egg
- 2 Onion slices
- 3 Tomato slices
- 2 Lettuce leaves
- 3 Bacon strips
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Bread crumbs
Method
- Season the chicken breast fillet with salt and pepper
- Beat the egg
- Dip the chicken in the egg
- Drop it in the bread crumbs and coat well
- Heat a pan and add olive oil
- Shallow fry the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on each side
- Take it off the pan and let it rest
- Meanwhile in the same pan fry the bacon strips
- Cut the ciabatta horizontally through the middle
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading the Romesco, mayonnaise, then layer the lettuce, onion, tomato, chicken and bacon
- Cut through the middle
- Serve warm
Tips
You can air fry the chicken and the bacon. Do brush the chicken with olive oil before air frying
