Butter Paneer

Ingredients
- 500g Paneer
- 1 jar SOS Butter Masala 225g
- 1 small bowl of water
- 1 tsp fresh cream for garnish (opt)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 Salt for seasoning
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Coriander for garnish
Method
- Heat a wok and add 1 tbsp of olive oil to it.
- Cut the paneer into 2 inch by 1 inch slices. Keep the thickness to just about 1 cm.
- Add the paneer pieces to the wok in a single layer.
- Turn them around when they become golden brown on one side. Let them get a nice golden colour on the other side too.
- Once done, remove and keep aside.
- Now add in the other tbsp of olive oil.
- Add the red chilli powder to the wok and stir for half a minute.
- Now add in the Butter masala sauce and mix well.
- Add in the salt. Cover and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove the cover and gently add in the paneer slices.
- Cover and let simmer for another minute.
- Remove the lid and garnish with coriander and fresh cream before serving.
Tips
Serve with hot naan bread or boiled rice. Add a side of raita or green salad.
