SOS Kitchen - Sustainability
WE DO OUR BIT
At SOS Kitchen, We continue to do our bit for the environment with our environmentally friendly packaging and zero waste policies.
Procure Locally
Local produce is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, food miles and packaging. All of these factors contribute to reducing waste and increasing quality.
If you're buying from a local grocer such as RedMart, Amazon, Shopee, NTUC Fairprice & Ryans, then you are helping them out cutting down on their overheads - We encourage this through active promotions so you can buy all your groceries in once place and further saving fuel costs!
Zero Wastage
- We use whole peppers, chillies & other fruits (where possible) & vegetables
- We don't waste packaging and use minimal packaging
Eco-Friendly Packaging
We continue to do our bit by using eco-friendly packaging. Our glass jars are 100% recyclable, and the tin lids can be reused or recycled as well. For cardboard boxes, we use a minimal amount of tape so that they can be easily disassembled and disposed of.
Constant improvements
While we are proud of our sustainability efforts, we acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. Currently, our glass jars are wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent breakage during shipping. We are actively searching for alternative packaging solutions that are environmentally friendly and do not increase the price per jar.
All this & more with your support
At SOS, we will continue to do our part in promoting sustainability and make a positive impact on the environment. Thank you for choosing our products and joining us on this journey towards a greener future.
