Homefries are a popular breakfast side in the US. If you like them a little spicy try this recipe!

Ingredients
- 2 medium Potatoes
- 1 Capsicum
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp SOS Harissa
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Water
Method
- Cut the potatoes with the skin on into 1 inch cubes
- Boil the water and add some salt to it and drop the potatoes in and par boil them
- Heat a skillet or a pan and add the butter to it

Drain the potatoes and drop them into the hot pan and let them brown on each side. Remove and keep aside
- Meanwhile chop the onion and capsicum into similar cubes
- Now add these to the same pan and let them char or brown a bit
- Add the potatoes back in and also add the Harissa
- Mix well and cook on high for a minute
- Sprinkle salt if needed and serve hot
Tips
Russet or Yukon gold potatoes work the best. To make them crispy cook without stirring them on each side. Serve with eggs, bacon or sausages to make a complete breakfast or brunch
