Harissa Chicken Wings

This Harissa Base Pizza is a bold twist on a classic favourite. Instead of tomato sauce, SOS Harissa is used as the pizza base, bringing smoky chilli heat and warm spices that bake beautifully in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sourdough pizza base (we used Quelli Della Pizza Pinsella Sourdough Pizza Base)
  • 1/2 Red Capsicum sliced
  • 1/2 Red Onion sliced 
  • 10 Olives sliced
  • 10 Jalapeno slices (bottled)
  • 3 tbsp SOS Harissa
  • 3 tbsp Mozarella cheese   

Method

  1. Spread the Harissa on the pizza base
  2. Top up the pizza base with the slices veggies 
  3. Sprinkle the cheese on top
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180*C for 10 minutes
  5. For the last 5 minutes turn the setting to grill and let the veggies and cheese brown a bit  

Tips

Change the toppings as per your choice. Replace the mozarella cheese with cheese of your choice.
