Arancini Balls

We’ve taken a comforting Italian favorite and given it a little SOS Harissa love. It’s simple, homestyle cooking with a hint of adventure — perfect for weeknights, family dinners, or whenever you crave something cozy with a bit of a kick

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup Arborio rice or leftover rice
  • 1 bowl of Grated cheese
  • 3 tsp SOS Harissa
  • 20 Pitted Olives
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 bowl of Bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Method

  1. Mix the rice, cheese, olives, harissa and make tennis ball sized balls
  2. Beat the egg
  3. Spread the bread crumbs on a plate
  4. Now take each ball and dip in the egg and then coat with breadcrumbs
  5. Pan fry the balls till golden brown on all sides
  6. Makes about 6 balls

Tips

Serve  with a spicy dipping sauce or spicy mayo. You can opt to air fry the arancini balls as well. Just brush with a little olive oil
