CHEESE TOASTIES

SERVING: 2     PREP TIME: 5MIN     COOK TIME: 5MIN

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100g Gruyere cheese
  • 2 tsp SOS Méjico
  • 4 Slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 Can of cream of tomato soup for dipping
  • 20g of butter

METHOD:

  • Grate the cheese
  • Lay the bread slices on a board & lightly butter each slice
  • Now spread some of the SOS Méjico on all four slices
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese on 2 of the slices
  • Make 2 sandwiches by lightly pressing the other 2 slices on top
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat
  • Toast the first sandwich while pressing it down with a spatula for 2 minutes or until the base is crispy & light brown
  • Turn over & toast the other side for 2 minutes while pressing down with the spatula
  • Repeat for the second sandwich
  • Warm up the soup & serve with the toasties!
